Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SwiftHunts ("SwiftHunts," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the SwiftHunts platform, website (https://swifthunts.com), browser extensions, and all related services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, clicking "Sign Up," or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

To use SwiftHunts, you must:

• Be at least 16 years of age (or the minimum age required by the laws of your jurisdiction to enter into a binding contract).
• Not have been previously suspended or removed from the Service.
• Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws.

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet all of the foregoing eligibility requirements.

3.1 Account Creation

You may create an account using an email address and password, or by authenticating through Google OAuth. You are responsible for providing accurate, current, and complete registration information and for updating this information to keep it accurate.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@swifthunts.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

3.3 One Account per User

Each individual or organisation may maintain only one account per user type (applicant or recruiter). Creating duplicate accounts, sharing accounts, or impersonating another person or entity is prohibited.

3.4 Email Verification

After registration, you will receive a verification email. You must verify your email address before accessing all platform features. We reserve the right to suspend unverified accounts after a reasonable grace period.

4.1 CV Upload & Accuracy

By uploading your CV, you confirm that its contents are accurate and truthful. You authorise SwiftHunts to store, parse, and use your CV to power AI matching, cover letter generation, and automated applications. You must not upload a CV that contains false qualifications, fabricated experience, or content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.

4.2 Automated Applications (Auto-Hunting)

The Auto-Hunting feature submits job applications on your behalf automatically, using your CV, parsed profile data, and AI-generated cover letters. By enabling this feature, you:

• Authorise SwiftHunts to submit applications in your name to third-party employers.
• Acknowledge that we are acting as your agent, not as a party to the employment relationship.
• Accept full responsibility for the accuracy and legality of your profile data.
• Understand that you may receive responses, interview invitations, or rejection communications from employers as a result.

We are not responsible for the outcome of any application or for the actions of any employer or recruiter.

4.3 Daily Application Limits

Application limits apply based on your subscription plan. SwiftHunts enforces these limits to maintain platform quality. Attempting to circumvent these limits is prohibited.

4.4 Recruiter Visibility

By using SwiftHunts, your profile (including skills, career level, experience, and target roles) may be surfaced to recruiters using the platform's candidate discovery features.

5.1 Job Postings

Recruiters may post job listings on SwiftHunts, subject to our moderation and approval process. By submitting a job posting, you represent and warrant that:

• The posting is for a genuine, current employment opportunity.
• All information in the posting is accurate and not misleading.
• The role is lawful and complies with applicable employment laws.
• You have the authority to advertise the role on behalf of the employing organisation.

5.2 Prohibited Job Content

The following types of postings are strictly prohibited:

• Fraudulent, scam, or misleading job opportunities.
• Multi-level marketing (MLM) schemes or roles requiring upfront payments from candidates.
• Illegal roles, roles involving illegal activity, or roles that discriminate on protected grounds.
• Roles that are not genuine employment opportunities (e.g., data harvesting campaigns disguised as job posts).

Violations may result in immediate removal of the posting, account suspension, and notification of relevant authorities.

5.3 Candidate Data

Applicant data you receive through the platform — including CVs, cover letters, and profile information — may be used only for the purpose of evaluating candidates for the specific role they applied to. You must not:

• Use candidate data for any purpose unrelated to hiring.
• Sell, share, or transfer candidate data to third parties.
• Contact candidates via means not provided through the platform without their explicit consent.
• Store candidate data longer than necessary or in violation of applicable data protection laws.

5.4 Nudges

The Nudge feature allows recruiters to send expressions of interest to matched applicants. Nudges must be sent in good faith and only to candidates genuinely considered for a real role. Spamming candidates with unsolicited nudges is prohibited.

6.1 Plans

SwiftHunts offers Free, Starter, Pro, and Premium subscription tiers for applicants, and separate plans for recruiters. Each plan includes specific feature entitlements and usage limits as described on the pricing page. We reserve the right to modify plan features with reasonable advance notice.

6.2 Payment

Payments are processed by our third-party payment providers, currently Paystack and Bachs. By subscribing, you authorise the applicable provider to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis. Your financial data is governed by that provider's terms and privacy policy.

6.3 Free Trial

New accounts may receive a free trial period with limited feature access. We reserve the right to modify or end free trial terms at any time.

6.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until then.

6.5 Refunds

Payments are generally non-refundable. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us at support@swifthunts.com within 14 days and we will review your case. We reserve the right to issue refunds at our sole discretion.

6.6 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices at any time. We will notify existing subscribers at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect. Continued use of a paid subscription after the price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Submit false, inaccurate, or misleading information.
• Impersonate any person, company, or entity.
• Harvest, scrape, or collect data from the platform without our prior written consent.
• Use automated bots, scripts, or tools to interact with the Service in a manner not intended or authorised by us.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, our servers, or third-party systems connected to the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure, including through denial-of-service attacks.
• Upload malware, viruses, or any code designed to damage or intercept data.
• Engage in any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations, including data protection and employment laws.
• Use the platform for any commercial purpose not expressly permitted (e.g., reselling access).
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent feature limits or plan restrictions.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

8.1 SwiftHunts IP

All content on the Service — including the software, design, logos, trade marks, text, graphics, and database compilations — is owned by or licensed to SwiftHunts and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

8.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (your CV, preferences, and other profile data). By uploading content to SwiftHunts, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, reproduce, process, and display that content solely as necessary to operate and improve the Service.

You represent and warrant that you have the right to upload and share all content you submit, and that your content does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.

SwiftHunts uses artificial intelligence to power features including CV parsing, job matching, cover letter generation, match score calculation, auto application and profile summaries. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated outputs (such as cover letters, match scores, and summaries) are generated automatically and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or content that is not appropriate for every context.
• You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before relying on it or sharing it with third parties.
• Match scores are indicative and do not guarantee interview or employment outcomes.
• We do not guarantee that AI-generated cover letters will be accepted by any specific employer.
• You must not use AI-generated content to deceive employers or misrepresent your qualifications.

The Service may link to or integrate with third-party websites, services, or APIs (including Paystack, Google, OpenAI, and job listing providers). These third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. SwiftHunts does not control and is not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of any third-party service.

We encourage you to review the terms of any third-party service before use.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SWIFTHUNTS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
• GUARANTEES THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.
• GUARANTEES THAT USE OF THE SERVICE WILL RESULT IN EMPLOYMENT, INTERVIEWS, OR ANY SPECIFIC OUTCOME.
• ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF JOB LISTINGS SOURCED FROM THIRD PARTIES.

SwiftHunts is a technology platform, not an employment agency. We are not a party to any employment contract and have no responsibility for hiring decisions made by recruiters.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SWIFTHUNTS, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION — ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO SWIFTHUNTS IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ₦10,000 (TEN THOUSAND NAIRA).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain types of damages. In such cases, our liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SwiftHunts and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

• Your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
• Your content, including any claim that your CV, profile data, or other content infringes or misappropriates any third-party right.
• Any misrepresentation made by you to employers, recruiters, or other users.
• Any fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful job posting submitted by you (recruiters).

14.1 Termination by You

You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us at support@swifthunts.com. Upon deletion, your profile and personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14.2 Termination by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for reasons including but not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.
• Fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activity.
• Non-payment of subscription fees.
• Inactivity for an extended period.
• Legal requirement or court order.

14.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — shall survive.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us at support@swifthunts.com. If the matter cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Lagos, Nigeria.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and/or by posting a notice on the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and may request deletion of your account by contacting us.
